Entries now open for 2015
Now in their 12th year, the Lighting Design Awards command the respect of the lighting community and are recognised as the pre-eminent architectural lighting competition in the lighting calendar.
Representative of the whole industry
Over 800 key players in the industry gathered in March to discover who would be taking home a coveted Lighting Design Award. The 2014 audience showed the breadth and reach of the event with people from all points of the specification and supply chain represented on the night. See a breakdown of last year's audience here.
The biggest night in the industry calendar
The Park Lane Hilton offers the largest and most prestigious setting for an awards night. Guests always make the most of the networking and enjoy celebrations through to our 3am finish. View some photos from past events here

New for 2015
Alongside all your favourite categories, we have introduced Client of the Year, this award will recognise the architectural practice or end user that has shown the most sophisticated appreciation of architectural lighting design over the course of the year. Lighting design practices can nominate clients they have worked with on shortlisted projects.
The rigorous judging process
Our illustrious judging panel features some of the biggest names in lighting and our judges visit every shortlisted project. This is why winning an award means so much to those who enter.
Winners and finalists receive exposure in Lighting, the leading authority in the industry
ABC audited, Lighting is the number one magazine for the UK lighting sector. For over 40 years, Lighting has kept the industry informed of the latest news and developments.
The entry process is simple and online
All submissions are made through our website. No printing or postage is necessary and you can log in and save your entry to come back to it at any time.
Since 2012 Lighting has offset the carbon emissions of the judging visits. We will be doing this again this year, so entering an award will not add to the embodied energy of your project.
But don't just take our word for it. Read what previous winners have to say
Entry deadline: 5 September 2014.
I look forward to receiving your entries, good luck!
